1. Maui, Hawaii

Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands (1,883 km2) in the mid-Pacific, known for its beach resorts, diverse landscapes and outdoor activities such as windsurfing, whale watching, snorkeling, diving and hiking. The island is blessed with great weather throughout most of the year.  The most interesting places to visit: Hana, Haleakala National Park, Iao Valley State Park, Kaanapali Beach, Makena Beach State Park, Molokini, Pools of Oheo, Makawao and many more.

2. Santorini, Greece

Santorini is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km southeast of Greece’s mainland. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago which bears the same name. Santorini was devastated by biggest volcanic eruptions in history, forever shaping its rugged landscape and villages. The whitewashed, cubist houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater crater. They overlook the clear Aegean and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

3. Jamaica

Jamaica is an island country located in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of the third-largest island of the Caribbean. It has a rich topography of mountains, rain-forests and reef-lined beaches. Many of its all-inclusive resorts are nested in vibrant Montego Bay, with its British colonial architecture, and Negril, famous for diving and snorkelling. Jamaica is well-known as the birthplace of reggae, and its capital Kingston is home to the Bob Marley Museum.

4. Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Providenciales is the most developed and populated island in the northwest Caicos Islands, part of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory. It is home to amazing beaches, luxury resorts and fine dining. The resorts on Providenciales are mainly concentrated on 1 km long Grace Bay. Long Bay Beach is one of the best kite-boarding spots in the Caribbean and a great place to learn.

Bali is an island in Indonesia – popular tourist destination famed for its forested volcanic mountains, rice paddies, beautiful beaches, coral reefs and highly developed arts. Mallorca is the largest island in the Balearic Islands archipelago, which is a part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean, known for its untouched beaches, sheltered coves and breath-taking scenery. Capital Palma, where the majority of population resides, has 13th-century Santa Maria cathedral and hosts the annual Copa del Rey regatta.

Mauritius, officially the Republic of Mauritius, a volcanic island nation in the Indian Ocean, 2000 km off the southeast coast of the African continent, is known for its beautiful beaches, lagoons and reefs. The mountainous interior encompasses Black River Gorges National Park with rain-forests, waterfalls, hiking trails and native fauna. Diving and snorkeling here is terrific. 10. Fernando de Noronha, Brazil

Fernando de Noronha is a volcanic archipelago of 21 islands and islets in the Atlantic Ocean about 350 kilometers off Brazil’s northeast coast. It’s named after its largest island, a protected national marine park and ecological sanctuary with a jagged coastline and diverse ecosystems. The life above and below sea is the main attraction of the island. Sea turtles, albatrosses and many other species are frequently observed.
